Convincing business folks of that can be a huge uphill battle.  Linked 
Data requires that you do your careful modeling up front, and it's not 
always obvious to managers that that's time well spent.

That's exactly what we did here, though -- linking data internally made 
security and data quality audits possible that weren't before, and that 
was a great selling point for linked data.  The story (for business 
folks) was basically "Here, now you can see what we have to work with, 
lookg at those frightening security issues!"  Before we exposed the 
data, it was difficult to respond to security concerns with anything but 
a very big wall.
