[Geowanking] Google App Engine and raster data?

Hi there,
Does anybody know of an example of storing raster data on the Google App Engine? I know that raster users usually don't like clouds :) but I am wondering if it possible for App Engine to support geo spatial raster data in all its complexity and glory; multi-band, reference system, projection, mask band, color tables, category names, data types, gigabytes size, etc. Is there anything pre-defined on the Google App Engine designed to do that your users would need to come up with their own schema?
