[Geowanking] Spatial Knowlege and Information Canada: Abstract Deadline extended

Calling all Canadian geowankers (or ex-pats or people working in Canada 
- I know there are a few of you out there)!

The Abstract submission deadline for Spatial Knowledge and Information 
Canada (http://rose.geog.mcgill.ca/ski) has been extended one week to 
October 10^th , 2008. The early registration deadline is still October 
3^rd , 2008 (TODAY). Please forward this announcement to any students or 
colleagues with an interest in GIS, the geoweb, Geomatics, spatial 
analysis, and related research topics.
 
We are excited to announce a commitment from the Canadian National 
Centre of Excellence, Geomatics for Informed Decisions (GEOIDE, 
www.geoide.ulaval.ca/ <http://www.geoide.ulaval.ca/>) of a minimum of 
$5,000 to support student participation. The majority of this support 
will go towards our student paper competition with the remainder and any 
future support going toward travel support for all students submitting 
and presenting a research paper at the conference. Registration details, 
abstract submission guidelines, and all other information is available 
on the Conference website (see url above).
