[Geowanking] is the answer still GRASS?

I have a number (about 150) large rasters I want to georeference
(setting points at the corners of the neatlines). They're 14mb JPG
files. qGIS seems to dislike dealing with them (it crashed; I was
resampling).

Is the answer still GRASS? I'm hoping no, as I still find it rather
tedious to use in a situation like this.
