Thanks also for the summary.

I was wondering: was there good representation from the collaborative 
computing / CSCW communities? Being a CSCW person myself, my concern is 
that a solid understanding of "volunteered information" is critical 
before geography can be added -- i.e., understanding human nature is 
critical to the success or failure of any "VI" endeavor, geographic or 
otherwise.
