[Geowanking] Probe for interest: alternative geo conference, London, this summer?

I might be interested, if it is at the same time as the OSM thing more or less. I'm in Spain, so its not too hard to get to London (Ryanair and all that)

Evan Prodromou asked me the other day on #geo (irc.oftc.net) whether
I'd be attending Where 2.0 this year. I had to answer no, because it's
not only on the other side of the world from me - I'm in London - but
also the registration cost is way more than I can afford. The cynic in
me might comment that with a price of $1100-$1500, saying the
conference is for "activists and community organizers building tools
for managing non-profit location groups" is a bit rich - ho ho.

Evan suggested holding an alternative, BarCamp/WikiSym-like event in
London. This could be a good chance for UK/Euro geohackers to get
together and do the knowledge sharing thing. Do people on this list
think they'd be interested in coming to such a happening?
