I don't doubt for a minute that you're right. However, pound-for-pound 
the iPod range is fairly competitive with offerings from Samsung, 
Philips etc. Likewise their PC hardware. This is something else though - 
they're actually asking for people to buy a phone. Phones are free. OK, 
you might pay a nominal £50 for a bleeding edge model, but £400? Maybe 
they'll have a different pricing structure over here, but the concept of 
buying a phone and the size of the price seems like a huge barrier to 
the mass market.
