[Geowanking] Bounding area of entities?

Have you tried asking Marc from geonames? (either on the forum or directly)

I'm sure if you make a 'use case' for adding the data they would consider
calculating a bbox. I asked about for a project I was working on and Marc
said he could add it, but it turned out that that I didnt need it so never
persued it...
