This will be a limitation placed by NavTeq. They don't want people to
create map apps that'll update automatically as you drive or walk around
for obvious reasons.
The 6 hours is rather randomm though. If I have a tracklog I recorded on
the way home, I have to wait 6 hours before I can use it?
As for polylines, there's no native support (yet) but you can add your
own library as a Flash Widget, that just handles adding lines and
whatever else you want.
