[Geowanking] Fwd: Microsoft soliciting input on MapPoint pricing

What exactly is it that the MapPoint web service provides that can't
be done now or in the not-so-distant future with Free or Open Source
software? Sure, they have access to the data. That's the easy
answer. But what are the features, in summary form, that you get from
MapPoint?
