[Geowanking] light weight waypoint server

hi

Is anyone familiar with, or written, a basic server application for
managing geotagged data? Anything open source?

Just need something to add/edit lat-lon + arbitrary data, and output
those points in xml. Just the most basic you'd expect.

I imagine this must exist many times over .. ideally these efforts
could be pooled.
