[Art Botterell]

Hello all.  My name is Art Botterell and my background is mostly at 
the intersection of mass and online media and civil emergency 
management (<http://www.incident.com/about.html>)... but with a 
couple of years sojourn in dot-com SF doing commercial webbery.

Mostly my thing is seeing how cool stuff can be applied to tough 
stuff... as an outrider (or maybe more of a canary) for the public 
safety crowd and an evangelist to them for the network vision.  A 
strange combination and not always comfortable, as you can imagine.

A couple of current projects, both more than a little spatially 
oriented, are the Common Alerting Protocol
