long history of being involved with things which are almost working.

..i had thought my interest in geo stuff was commercial, I even end up 
in front of various Palo Alto VC's, but a friend of mine from India 
turned up on my doorstep one day in san francisco..

  ..after i'd spent a good few hours explaining all the geo thoughts in 
my head Suresh said to me "you mean, you want to make the trees sing?"

after that i gave up hope of making money and my thoughts got trippier 
and trippier ..ended up in Kathmandu writing it all down..

at the moment  working on 'the geo enabled foaf adhoc mesh internet in 
your pocket which should be able to turn a big piece of cheese into a 
hat no problem'

previously focused on real time physics engines for next generation 
game consoles (PS2 etc) in San Francisco

..some time before that, real time 3d visualisation on PC's (when it 
was almost working) The people i was working with at the endof that 
period disappeared without trace one day and DirectX appeared a couple 
of weeks later explaing where they'd disappeared to.

..some time before that, spent a while teaching fine artists working 
with computers at Oxford in the UK

..aside from that, and other stuff, travelled a lot, followed my 
thoughts

at the moment I split my time between London and Paris (where my gf 
lives) and think about geo stuff a lot
